Job Description

Summary of Position: The Partnership Development Executive supports the Bridge Initiative team with Church development activities. The position is expected to develop relationships with prospective partners, nurture and engage these organizations, convert these leads into committed and signed partners, and to provide client account management support. The position will also support lead-generation activities to share the Bridge Initiative with different audiences. Regular travel is required. Duties and Responsibilities Partnership Development Identifies prospective partners with an emphasis on churches and Christian non-profits Creates and executes a contact strategy to engage prospective partners and sell the Bridge Initiative and its value to these organizations with the goal of adding twenty-five (25) partners during the fiscal year Development Data Tracks lead and contact data to support reporting, trend analysis, and relationship management Develops and tracks weekly, monthly, and annual benchmarks that support development goals Maintains an accurate accounting of all partners in the various partnership tracking systems Partner Onboard & Engagement Supports partnership onboarding by conducting a kickoff call with committed partners, following execution of any legal agreements Provides periodic communication with new partners between the execution of the legal agreement and the end of the first year to ensure engagement Lead Generation Identifies and executes at lead generation events or experiences to support partnership development Travel Travels regularly to prospective partner locations to support development activities Training Participates in the annual training and partnership conference for Bridge Initiative partners Liaison Liaison concerns and needs from partners to the Bridge Initiative team, where necessary Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement. Education Required. A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university is required Preferred. A master's degree in business, leadership, communications, or ministry is preferred Experience Required Experience. Three to five (3-5) years of vocational ministry experience is required, particularly in large, influential churches or related para-church organizations. Preferred Higher Education Experience. Any higher education experience (e.g., administration or teaching) is preferred. Required Skills Leadership. Significant capacity to develop and support a team and complex processes as initiatives scale Interpersonal Relationships. Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles Communication. Superior ability to communicate in all forms (e.g., verbal and written) and mediums (e.g., electronic, in-person, or otherwise) Project Management. Ability to manage multiple, complex projects through a combination of systems and agile thinking Technology. Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and introductory experience in graphic design (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator), website management, data analytics, and project management tools are preferred.
