Creative Worship Arts Pastor

Job Description

Position Overview:

 In this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating worship environments that inspire believers and draw nonbelievers to Jesus. The Creative Worship Arts Pastor will work under the guidance of our Lead Pastor, ensuring alignment with Beulah Church's beliefs, values, and mission. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, creative, and committed to promoting the Greater Life in Christ.

Responsibilities:

Modeling Biblical Priorities:

• Daily quiet time with God
• Participation in Beulah Life regularly
• Maintaining character and integrity through appropriate boundaries
• Developing personal evangelism opportunities
• Faithful tithing to the church
• Adhering to Beulah employee qualities and characteristics as defined by the Staff Handbook

Program Planning:

• Planning and executing dynamic programs, including worship services and ministry events
• Recruiting, training, and developing team members for program planning

Creative Development:

• Shaping the creative direction of Beulah Church through service programming, promotions, and media
• Leading and mentoring a creative team

Series Development:

• Collaborating with the Lead Pastor and ministry team to plan and develop series that nurture spiritual growth.
• Scheduling and leading series planning meetings in advance.

Musical Direction:

• Casting vision for the musical direction, ensuring biblical accuracy, musical excellence, and cultural relevance.
• Recruiting, training, and mentoring worship leaders
• Managing multiple teams of musicians, vocalists, and tech leaders
• Supporting and caring for volunteers on worship and tech teams
• Ensuring their spiritual growth and well-being

Video Production:

• Collaborating with the Creative Ministry Director on video production
• Establishing a video team for creating promotional and in-service videos
• Leading creative strategies to effectively communicate with the church and the world through video.

Requirements:

• A college degree or equivalent experience in a ministry-related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in leading worship in a multi-staff environment.
• Experience in leading and developing staff, ministry partners, and volunteers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with church members, staff, and volunteers.
• Flexibility, teachability, and a strong team player.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and think strategically.
• High level of integrity in handling confidential matters
