Organization Description

Everyone experiences pain, hurt, tiredness, & the need for God’s sustaining love. That’s why every
day, in every way, we strive to follow the heart of Christ & connect in relationships first.
Programs are a thing, but not the thing.
Mayfield UMC is a paradox and it’s what makes us refreshingly uncommon.
We embrace the beautiful paradoxes of life & location. We honor tradition while embracing change
& we value reason as much as experience. Nestled between the suburbs and the countryside, our
unique setting provides spaces ready for the community to fully-utilize for all walks of life, every
faith background (or no faith background).
Getting to know new people is what matters most to us.

Our mission is to offer Christ through an inclusive community of faith that worships God, cares for people, equips disciples,
and works to transform the world.
