Job Description
Description: Church of the King is currently seeking a Student Ministries Coordinator for our Baton Rouge Campus. This person must possess the passion and ability to help students meaningfully connect with God. The ideal candidate should be gifted in visionary leadership, preaching, and creating strategies for reaching teens. The Student Ministries Coordinator must have the drive, wisdom, and maturity to connect with our other campuses and create a spiritually healthy community for high school and middle school students. Additionally, candidates for this position should possess the ability to recruit, train, and shepherd volunteers that are a part of the student ministry.
Qualifications: Candidates must be diligently seeking a vital and growing personal relationship with the Lord, have experience in and zeal for the work of ministry, be able to work on a team toward specific goals in a mutually edifying and supportive manner, and maintain a teachable and open attitude. Must have prior experience as a Youth Pastor, Youth Leader, and/or leadership role in a youth environment.

Church of the King offers contemporary weekend worship services that are alive with energy, creativity, and Bible-based teaching, including dynamic and engaging children’s ministry. Timely and relevant youth ministry services are available for Junior High and High School students on Wednesday nights.
