Worship Leader Resident

Job Description

GRACEPOINTE Church, Northwood, OH a campus of Grace Community Church, Fremont, OH is looking for a man to serve as our next Worship Leader Resident. This is a paid ministry development position where you’ll learn, train, and collaborate with a team of worship leaders from our other campuses and then lead our campus in musical worship each Sunday. This man must have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, is biblically grounded, and is passionate about ministry.  We are looking for a leader who can help develop the talent and passion of our current music team, as well as, recruit and build our music ministry.   

We are a gospel-focused, community-engaged, stylistically progressive, theologically conservative church that continues to grow steadily with unchurched people placing their faith in Christ. GRACEPOINTE just celebrated its 6 year anniversary as a relaunch!  We started with 34 people and have grown to over 240 people with a regular weekly attendance averaging 150.  Thanks to the amazing work God is doing in our church as well as the passionate Ministry leaders that we have, we are continuing to see steady growth. Currently GRACEPOINTE has a full-time Campus Pastor, full-time pastoral resident as well as a part-time office assistant.  The rest of our ministries are led by our amazing team of volunteers who are passionate about what God is doing in our church and our community, and want to share that passion with others.

This is a one-year commitment with a great chance of moving to a long-term, full-staff position. The position is full-time with a total financial package of $30,000/year though it could go to $40,000/year depending on education, experience, and life situation.  If you are passionate about serving Jesus Christ, enjoy developing an effective worship ministry, are organized, flexible, can bring energy to a worship service, and want to grow while helping our church grow then GRACEPOINTE is for you!
