Job Description

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks of the Worship Pastor

Serve as the lead worshiper for Grace Church.  Raise up more lead worshipers for the Kingdom of God.
Build, direct, coordinate, and develop worship teams, including the worship band, song leaders and tech volunteers. This includes leading weekly rehearsals, scheduling team members, posting chord charts, MP3s and other necessary elements for the band each week.
Oversee and coordinate creative arts ministries and volunteers in worship, including worship dance teams, student ministry band and other use of the arts.
Participate in all production and creative meetings, including weekly worship design team meetings, assisting in the overall programming and execution of creative elements in the worship experience (i.e., livestreaming, songs, video elements, props, etc.).
Assist with providing music at occasional services such as weddings, funerals, special services, or arrange for others to do so.
Manage and maintain the musical instruments, worship facilities and music technology equipment, keeping up to date with current developments.
Manage the music budget in accordance with the financial policies of the church.
Pastor, coach, and care for all worship team volunteers, developing them through conferences and venues designed to deepen their worship leading capacities.

Your Team 

This position reports to the Lead Pastor.

This position relates to the pastoral leadership team and supervises a part-time tech assistant and all worship team volunteers.
