We are seeking a qualified candidate to lead, teach and equip middle school and high school students for Kingdom faith and living. Teaching Scripture, planning events and spending time with teens is priority.

Job Description

Church at Winder youth is prayerfully seeking a new youth pastor who will lead our middle and high school aged students. Working with and leading dedicated volunteers, we seek an individual committed to the authority of Scripture and the power of the Holy Spirit. We have a newly constructed youth house ready to be used when the new youth pastor arrives. Working hours are typically Sunday-Thursday, with flexibility so that the youth pastor can also meet with students and plan activities. Candidate must be comfortable and active in Holy Spirit empowered ministry and the unwavering commitment to the teaching of Scripture on all issues. Candidate must also work as a healthy member of an existing team of pastors and staff. We are looking for character and competency in our new youth pastor. We will consider all candidates, but desire one with hands-on youth experience and prefer some level of theological equipping from a Bible college. We are praying, believing, and expecting God to provide the right person to join our team and serve our youth.

Organization Description

Church at Winder is a non-denominational local assembly which emphasizes and operates a Kingdom culture of Word & Spirit. This means that we prioritize for all ages a strong commitment to the authority of God’s Word and the necessity of God’s Spirit. At the time of this posting the church has approximately 400 active members including 25 middle and high school students and approximately 75-100 total children from birth to fifth grade. We are in a season of steady numerical growth in a suburban geographical area that is also rapidly growing with new homes, retail and families moving in. Our worship is energetic, and our church has trended younger over the last 18 months. We believe we are positioned to make a lasting impact in our country and region, and we are seeking the right Youth Pastor to come on board to help us with this.
